Top hung garage door

Somewhere I saw a video about top hung garage doors. The doors had air cylinders to raise the door. The principle was similar to the way an engine hoist jack cylinder works. The door could be used temporarily like a shed roof if you wanted to work on something only partially in the shop. I have had no luck finding anything about something like this on this forum. Anyone know anything about this method?

Has no one ever heard of this? It was from the northern part of the country. Looked like a farm.

I've heard/seen of this,where the hinge is on the top of a solid garage door, but not on anything recently built.
