In the process of conducting a top secret, highly sophisticated test (ok...not so secret and not so sophisticated...). between EvapoRust and a new product I found. Stay tuned...
Find a rusty chain and cut it up. Or a bucket of rusty hardware at a garage sale.

I troll flea markets and yard sales and always encounter old tin snips that are all rusty. The two halves of the snips can be separated, and assuming they're equally roached (which they usually are) should give you a great side to side test. Pick the winner of the two liquids, then find another pair and pit the winner against the electrolysis.I'm still trying to figure out how to come up with an equal load of test parts for each solution. I'm wanting to test for time required to clean and also for effective life of solutions. Biggest problem is finding enough rusty parts that are similar in size and amount of rust. Shouldn't be too long - just need time to work on it.
Apparently the Russians found out about this top secret testing, and well, you know what happened............
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
