Topical sealer after penetrative sealer

I have a 720 sq/ft garage slab that was poured 2 1/2 years ago. Really nice slab, hand troweled but smooth. I purchased Legacy Industrial HD-39 and applied it a few weeks ago. At the time I purchased the HD-39, I had intended for this to be the only product on my concrete. The HD-39 has made a difference in the scratch resistance of the slab, but not much difference on the waterproofing. As my shop has developed, I'm now wanting something that will help with spills. I'm fond of the glossy look as well.

My question is: Can I apply a topical sealer over the HD-39 densifier/waterproofer? What is a recommended product? I'm open to budget but hoping to be under $500. What prep will be required? If is drip water on the concrete now, it will still absorb it. It beads up but ultimately gets sucked in.

Thank you Garage Journal.

I think we covered this via email. :)

Scotty, can you elaborate on what the process would be.

I thought I read that some densifers (ghost shield) would prevent use of almost all topical sealers.

If hd39 allows for topical sealers later on, it might help me buy time until I can pick which sealer to use in my space.
