Just picked up some Toptul 1/4" wobble extensions and love the feel of them. So in my searches came across this doozy....

I know this might be seen as rather silly, but for those driveway wrenchers who find themselves working against the daylight and have to do some final turns in the dark, this might be a good thing to have in the toolbox... I would have thrown this into my last order with Dennis if he'd had it. Are there other adapter light options out there?

Don't know if I'm ready to drop $11 + $13 shipping on it though...

I've seen the ultra cheap ones before and thought if someone made a decent one its not a bad idear. There's been plenty of times it was a mother to get light on something all by myself in hard to reach areas. If D starts selling these I just might have to give one a try.

Craftsman offer these 15 years ago. I've used it 3 times to get light somewhere with a 24 inch extension. Not really a must have now that there are a million flashlight options

No. I'm fine with my coast or stream light pocket lights plus, a wide variety of small odd shaped cordless led lights. Besides, the little light that extension puts out won't help you when you drop that bolt or nut:dunno:

Don't get discouraged or think less of them because Toptul offers this item. I think every brand offers a few items that might make you scratch your head and ponder why....:D

I'm on my third (free) Harbor Freight LED flashlight, the thing just plain *****. But you're right, there are a lot of lighting options out there. For this price I should just get a Mini Mag Pro AA and AAA LED Flashlight Combo Pack, Black.

My toolboxes are already stuffed full of stuff, I figured a little socket light might be a good thing to have. I (sort of) trust Toptul thus far, but not at this price...

Seems like a gimmick to me too. That's why I don't sell it. It is remarkable to me how many people request it.

Fedwrench is right, take the Snap On Kneerest Mat as an example. Goes for $10 on Amazon time-to-time.

What you need the most (lining up a fastener to the thread
wouldn't really be possible once a bolt is in the socket. kind of a neat novelty but I passed for that reason.

However, TOPTUL still RULS
