I imported a large amount of Toptul hand tools back in 2010 and was very impressed with their quality. Toptul had the nicest finish and packaging I'd seen among any of the Taiwanese tool companies. Unfortunately, their tools have not sold well here in the US. Toptul product is so inexpensive, you have to sell in large volumes to generate enough cash flow to justify the time and investment. Others before me (Wren Hand Tools and the original Toptul importer in Charlotte) had strong initial sales but eventually dropped the line or lost interest when the business levelled off. Country of origin and the lack of a corporate US presence has also been a factor regarding customer acceptance.
Effect immediately, all Toptul products in stock (see http://www.ultimategarage.com/shop/index.php?cPath=755) are eligible for an additional 25% discount. Actual Fedex shipping costs will be charged for larger items but if you're ordering $25+ of small items that will fit in a small USPS flat rate box, shipping will be $6.00 anywhere in the US ($15 to Canada).
