:wtf::wtf: How is it that after all of the praise and purchases made by members of this forum, Mike at Wren Hand Tools can sponsor a contest where the winner receives a $100 Toptul gift certificate on the Jalopy Journal Forum? I know he hooks us up with a member discount, throws in freebies with orders, and is a stand up guy. However, I feel violated that he would sponsor a contest anywhere but, here. I know sponsoring a contest at the Jalopy Journal may widen his customer base and put the Toptul name out there for more to see but, those hoodlums don't even work on anything with metric sizes. Tisk, Tisk, Tisk....:lol_hitti

Seems like mike is busy lately, i am still waiting for a reply for my email about prices (about 2-3 days, not bad yet).

My last order with him was great
i have a set that is perfect for bmw that i use every day- the torx/hex 10mm bit set

great set to have

hopefully he answers me asap so i can place anther order.

Hey there I was asked by Ryan if I wanted to Sponsor Tech Week over there. So I said yes. If there was a contest here to sponsor, I would gladly do so at a moments notice.
I truly mean...without pause I would do this.
Maybe it's me, but I kinda took this thread to have a negative tone, (which I hope not) or it was just you guys bustin' my chops. (which I hope so)
Since communicating by email does not give one the benefit of 'hearing' the way in which something is said...I always try to assume it to come from a positive angle instead of negative.

So figure out a contest and I'll provide the prize. Just give Ryan a shout, I'll bet he'll be glad to announce something.

I meant nothing negative towards Toptul or you Mike in starting the thread. It just struck me funny that the "other" forum got a contest with a Toptul gift certificate as a prize but, I have a warped sense of humor. Of course, the "other" forum has swag for sale too. I guess we haven't evolved enough here yet. You're doing a fine job putting Toptul out there.:thumbup:
