Hey everyone!

I have been getting several emails saying I need to defend or respond to threads or some such goings on here at the Journal. So here goes?

1. Website *****....it was down for 18 hours or so? It doesn't mean in any way that I'm going out of business...or planning to go out of business.

2. I have good news, but I'm not going to say anything yet...because I don't want to give a specific time frame. Yes...it has to do with the website.

3. I fund this business from extra $ from my investment management business.
Doesn't take too much thought to know that my income was SEVERELY impacted when Wall Street did its thing. It's back to normal now but it was a rough patch for sure. Of course not any tool customers fault...and not an excuse for me giving less than perfect service....but thought you might like to know the back story.

4. MOst people should notice SLOW and steady improvement as we move towards the Holidays.

Glad to hear you are still out and about. There was a lot of confusion about your status. This will hopefully put it to rest.
How is your inventory? I need to order a ratchet?

I have never stopped selling tools at all. My inventory is good on some things and out of others. It's a pretty powerful forum and when you guys all get the same idea you sure can buy a lot of the same tool! That's for sure! So there are a lot of items I'm out of and then I have a lot of items that aren't very sought after or just haven't sold for some reason. No worries.

I did quit posting to this forum for the better part of this year while I was making money elsewhere to get back to scratch and to then start putting a renewed effort into the tools.
Sorry that there has been such a lag but there was nothing for me to do except survive for a bit.

Working on a new site that will be more than adequate....and most importantly accurate.
It will be able to automatically process an order and take a credit card as well.....but if you happen to be a little edgy about putting your CC info into a sight...just pick up the phone and call. I'll be more than happy to help...chat....take your criticism....whatever is needed!

I'll start inputting info into the new site tomorrow and camera work will soon follow. I will not launch the site in a hurry. If you want availability and price on anything just send an email.

Also...yes I know A LOT of you are waiting for certain items from me. ANd the delay I'm sure has irritated you and been frustrating to say the least. All I can say is it is 100% my fault and I'll try to do better and to make things "right" as need be.

Glad to hear your still up and hanging in there... the economy has impacted everyone; needless to say, with the stock market being your primary source of income... I can only imagine how that has impacted you! Hang in there; there is allot of goodwill you have created here, looking forward to a improved website and good luck on your side biz!

I'm afraid I was the one to start the thread about the downed website. I didn't mean to cause any mass panic or criticism, but either way I am very happy to hear that you are still there *and* that you haven't given up on Toptul.
