Anyone know where I can purchase a specific TopTul torque wrench model: ANAC 1608 80 ft-lb 1/2" drive ?

Sent the TopTul website an inquiry about it but have yet to hear back from them (if at all)?

So if you know exactly of a place where I can buy this particular TopTul torque wrench please send me a PM.

Thanks!

Mr. Tool, good luck with that. I sell their stuff and they don't respond to my Emails. Anyway, this isn't a valid TOPTUL part number. ANCA1608 doesn't exist. If you go to TOPTUL's website and enter that part number in the search box you will see that this part number is invalid. They make an ANAG1208 that's 15-80 foot pounds but this is 3/8" drive. These aren't anything special anyway and aren't in fact made by TOPTUL but by William Tool. Why not buy a Precision Instruments torque wrench and be done with it. I get special requests for TOPTUL items all the time but I see nothing special about their torque wrenches to warrant going out of your way to buy them. They work fine but so do a lot of other people's. TOPTUL'S wrenches and sockets are amazing. Their relabeled torque wrenches are pretty average.

Still exists on Toptuls website. Enter ANAC and you'll get it.

Looks like a nice set of tire shop torque wrenches to me. single preset value that appears to not be adjustable. Although less accurate, I'll stick to my torque sticks.

That is a valid part number but ANCA wasn't. These aren't William Tool but I still have to ask what's the point. Buy a Precision Instruments split beam wrench and you can almost immediately dial it to whatever torque you want. These are what Discount Tire uses everyday here where I live. The split beam stays where you set it until the end of time or until you lift the lever and decide to change it. These are manual torque sticks to my way of thinking. They are so specialized, and in my opinion useless, that I'll never carry them as I don't think I could sell them. These seem like useless tools to me, does anybody think differently? Just asking.

Cool! :rocker:

Superautobacs PM sent. :3gears:

I have a couple of other torque wrenches, some dial beam, etc. but still want this 'specific' one!

I've seen it actually being used before (I have the Koken Cross Wrench, works terrific)

Well I wish you luck on your search. All I can say is that I'm never going to carry them for the reasons I've already stated. Everybody is unique and I'm a big believer in different strokes for different folks. I'm a big believer in Accutorq torque sticks so that's what I use with my I-R 231 but to each his own.
