amish...these should be a pic under the Master Tool sets Tab. Also if you search the impact socket tab at the left after you click MAster Sets, it is the 10 pcs in the green metal box, but this set doesn't come with the box...just the black plastic tray.

I bought a 10inch 1/2 drive extention and like it, the ball is firm and it fits tight on both ends.

It is true, I don't have everything that they make yet. But towards the end of next year I should be well and truly on my way to having quite a large inventory. "things are happening!" Also, important I won't string someone along. If I don't have what they've inquired about, I am honest about the time delay involved.

As I have often found on this site, when someone "calls someone out" at the beginning of a thread, many other posters find it distastful and come to the defense of the target, making everone feel bad for him and turning it into a tide of sysmpathy and support - often times the target comes out smelling like a rose - even if they don't even reply!!!:bounce:

Goes to show most people don't like harsh words or actions directed at people who haven't done anything to deserve it!! Brings a tear to your eye!:thumbup:

Well, since this thread is so short, I'll add to it. :)

Here's what I found

- "Today, all TOPTUL professional tools are manufactured by TOPTUL production chain based on TOPTUL Design & Quality Specifications under ISO-9001:2000 Edition Quality Management."

But it doesn't say ISO 9000 certified.

- I checked out the web site: There is a page which has some testing data. Their web site doesn't display page URLs so I can't give a reference.

- Their tools meet or exceed ANSI and DIN standards. Their new line of super torque wrenches exceed ANSI standards by 60%.

They don't say which standards.

- They have a lifetime guarantee and liability coverage.

I believe it's correct that you can meet a standard without being certified by the governing body that sets that standard. At least it stands to reason, doesn't it? But I think you're suggesting (or I'm inferring :) ) that TopTul's promo copy means to be ambiguous:)

We manufactured a product once, and it was certified by TUV, the German version of Underwriters Laboratory. We made another to the same standard, but didn't go through the "certification" process. I wasn't involved with it, so I don't know what the costs were, but it was necessary for us to sell to the German market we wanted to sell to, which was their version of Wal-Mart, which was, in typical German fashion, a very high-quality place:thumbup:

My understanding is that quality procedures and standards compliance need to be verified or audited before certification. Otherwise, anyone could claim compliance.

I'm not suggesting anything -- just making observations. If you look at the testing data, it seems reasonable to conclude they are making quality tools.

The following comes directly from their web site, without editing. I don't know if it was there when the thread was started, but I'm surprised no one seems to have checked it before.
