Yeah, Ive been watching that for a while actually. I just wish it was an SAE set. I have emailed both ultimate garage and the tool chest about carrying more Toptul line. Ultimate garage is trying to clear out their stuff, do to it not selling well. Of course there are only two distributor in the states, and neither of them are doing any real advertising for it...so gee, I cant imagine why they arent selling much (I hope you all picked up the sarcasm there).

The tool chest emailed me back wanting to know specifically what I was after, so I sent them a list of socket sizes i was needing most. They havnt gotten back to me yet, but Im hoping they are looking into stocking more.

In the mean time, Im hoping someone has some extra they would like to clear out. But everyone that owns it seems to love it so much, they would sell their car before their Toptul :lol_hitti

You're right. Toptul guys seem to be pretty loyal to the brand. Mike seemed to be doing a pretty good amount of sales when he was on here promoting it. Seems like it's been harder of late to stay engaged with the brand. A shame really.

I've got 3 Hanson trays full of Toptul sockets. With ratchets, screwdrivers and a bunch of wrenches. And I wouldn't get rid of one piece :) It's really awesome stuff.

$24 + $6 USPS sfrb shipping? Where?

My apology, with shipping you are a little cheaper. None the less, you are withing $3 of the new price of that ratchet. Not cheap enough for me to buy a used one. Not knocking your price man, I appreciate the offer. But I cant give more than $20 shipped, and I cant do paypal gift option. Internet business is risky enough for buyers. But if youll take $20 shipped with regular paypal option, then Ill take it

I tried to be below goin' price, USPS doesn't cut me any deals. Expatriated picked it up though. It was like new.
Check out "PayPal Calculator" and you will get a fee calculation so you don't have to use gift option.

I bought 'em here off the board and I think I've used a couple of 'em a couple times, but they're in excellent shape as far as I remember. (New unused when I bought 'em).
I'll check 'em over closer, get some pics and think on a price if you're interested. Like to sell 'em all together or in sets, (other than the shallow 3/8 dr 19mm of course).

I asked my toptul dealer and he has all the metric sockets available that your looking for. All the sae sizes are out of stock at this moment, he will be getting some in in his next shipment. All the metrics are satin chrome finish and all the sae is mirror finish.

Thanks Jack, Im really dissapointed to learn about the sae all being mirror. I just dont get why they would do that. :headscrat

I agree. The Toptul satin finish rocks. One of the reason I buy alot of German stuff now, they have mostly satin finishes.

I guess I'm in the minority: someone that isn't enamored with high polished chrome. It's like someone said, "What's the absolute smoothest, slipperiest material we could come up with for a tool that might be covered in grease or oil? That'll be funny to watch someone try to get a good grip on":lol_hitti

Here's the thread where I bought 'em. I had to search to find it to see what I gave for 'em...LOL
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61008&highlight=toptul

I can't find the shallow sockets and dont remember buying 'em...:headscrat And now that I've reviewed the thread I'm not sure what I gave for the sockets I did buy... LOL

I can't find prices on Toptul anywhere on the net and have no idea what to ask for these really. I think I read a thread here a while back about these being close in price to craftsman? IIRR the toptul was a little cheaper maybe?

I did get a few hopefully better pics to show the drive end. I've used a couple of the 1/2 dr ones on the impact... :lol_hitti I don't think I've used the 3/8 dr ones at all.
Forgot to get a pics of the lone 19mm 3/8dr shallow socket. It's same as new though.

Looky what I found!

The elusive 1/2"dr shallow sockets! (And the 3/8"dr 19mm)

The sizes;
27, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20
and 13, 12, 11, 10

As far as price, the only thing I have to go on is what I gave for 'em so I'd like to have that back now that I've found all of 'em... ($50 shipped for all the Toptul sockets)

Or I'd work out some sort trade for a set of 1/2"dr metric 6pt deepwell sockets. (That's why I originally bought these anyway.)

1stwarrior, I got a little confused--what do you have in this thread still for sale and the price shipped?

(Only if vette-kid passed. Not trying to jump in front of him, but it looks like he passed on the sockets from what I read.)

Thanks.

Haha. I can understand that ex!

Lemme see, I have the 1/2" dr deep well set, (23, 22, 21, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10) Missing 20mm

The 1/2" dr shallow set, (27, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 13, 12, 11, 10) Missing 14-19, 26

The 3/8" dr deepwell set, (20, 19, 17, 16, 11, 9, 8, 7, 6) Missing 10, 12-15, 18.

And last is the lone 3/8"dr 19mm shallow... LOL

I gave $50 shipped for 'em so I gotta have that back at least. I'm willing to lose what shipping cost me but can't go lower. I would entertain offers on the shallow 1/2"dr and/or the 3/8"dr deep wells. If I have to split 'em up I gotta keep the 1/2"dr deepwells because that's what I bought the sets for in the first place.

Ok, I guess I'll have to pass. The only set I wanted was the 1/2" deep, which you don't want to split up and I understand. If you find buyers for the others, I'd be interested in the 1/2" deep.

Good luck on the sale.
