I found a listing for various torch/welder components. I am really only interested in one torch (its a Harris, had him send me a picture, but can not see the model number) Since he has the whole lot for $200, I offered $40 for just the Harris. He countered with $50 for just the torch. But I have been wondering if I was to buy the whole lot and then turn around and try to sell everything else, would I make back my $200?
I know by the looks of it, some will need to be cleaned and possibly rebuilt, but even if I can get $20 per gauge set up. Just wondering if its worth the time and money.

The Harris torch I am interested in is the 4th one down in the first picture showing the whole lot.

My thoughts are buy the one you want and leave the rest.
I am afraid you will tie up $200 in a lot of stuff that ,in the regulators most likely need rebuilt.

I wouldn't buy any of that stuff, it looks all too well used for me, like the kind you see in a pawn shop.

I bought a new incomplete Harris set ($50) just to get the regulators and sold off the cutting head ($30) and tips ($10) to get most of my money back. None of those pieces fit my existing Victor hand piece. Still have a free box if anyone wants it.

My money sezs look for new equipment.

Lot of junk in that picture. I'd pass on it all and buy a new torch outfit. Not very much money and way more reliable and safe.

Have a chat with your local welding supplier. They will sell You the right torch and stock any needed parts or supplies for it. The new torches will have the flashback arrestors and new hoses and regulators.. Save the one piece at a time for Johnny Cash and his Cadillac.
