Not since I'm lazy per se, Speed is important, and I find myself brazing and need to heat it up to remove a nut.....and I'm heating it for 15 minutes to avoid changing tip or handle for another, 30-second job, if the correct tip was on there.

I know a quick connection isn't legal, right, but is there one anyway or a way to do it. Hell I'd buy el cheapo hoses for a second line.
Any idea,pic, links?

Every torch handle I've got takes only a couple of seconds to change tips...Maybe you need to upgrade a little?

Agreed. We're talking oxy-acetylene, right? Also, there certainly are quick connects for oxy-acetylene. They're expensive though, and I wouldn't want that added bulk between my torch and hose.

On my torch cart, I have a short hose that goes from the regulators through a Gas-Saver valve (when you hang a torch on the hook, the gas shuts off, and there's a pilot flame for re-lighting). The green hose to the oxy torch goes to the Gas-Saver, but on the acetylene side, I have a Y fitting with two valve knobs. One side goes to my oxy-acetylene torch hose leading to a Victor 100FC 15 feet away (I have a 315FC, but haven't used it in years), and the other side goes to my air-acetylene torch, currently a Prest-O-Lite with a 1/4-turn shut off valve at the front (a less common style handle). All of these tips screw in, though I also have a Turbo-Torch handle with QC tips.
