Found a good quote to get my garage done. They use tornigol. Looking to get a grey color done anyone have any finished pics?

Also he mentioned there was a strong fume odor that this stuff has. Is that dangerous for my pregnant wife. Should I postpone till after the baby?

Must be your first kid if you think bringing something with a strong offensive odor is a good idea with a pregnant wife. Good luck and godspeed

So you think I should cancel and postpone till after the baby? She's 33 weeks right now. The guy said it should be gone in a day. And won't smell inside the home as long as the windows are closed.

Wanted to get it done before the baby was born. She said she would stay at her mom's for a day or two.

Lots of horror stories of lingering odors from floor coatings. Not something I would want to risk with a pregnant wife.

Little to gain, lots to lose.

There’s thousands of floors done every year with no issues but every now and then you see complaints about lingering odor in the garages. It’s rare but if it were me i would wait just to be on the safe side.

Thank you yea I'll prob cancel. I'm assuming it's dangerous when baby is born as well so was trying to get it done before

Geesh like what?
Apparently this is the first baby?

Nothing worse than a pissed off, extremely hormonal pregnant woman! (And they can be troublesome for a few months after too!)

Skip the floor for a year!

Right now your big concern should be keeping mama happy. It isn't about you right now!

She's the one that wants it more haha. We can stay at my sister's for a week just not sure if it's still risky a week later

This guy babies.

I can't imagine the ration of **** that I would eat for 30+ years over the damn floor that just had to get done.

I bet it would end up being fine. As was said, lots of floors get done without a problem. But what if...and no one can guarantee.

If the guy is warning you, it means he's probably had some solid complaints/bad experiences with customers not liking the odor

I love my wife dearly, she is my best friend. When she was pregnat I felt sorry for the gal. I certainly wouldn't risk her discomfort for a nice garage floor. They go through enough as it is!

Good grief, guys. It likely won't be an issue at all, especially if she's staying over somewhere else a day or two. There's a rare chance she'll smell it and it'll bother her several days later, but unless she's a total monster, the poor guy that is getting this done will be fine. Harm to the baby? That is so unlikely it's nearly impossible.

Dude, if you want to get your floor done now, get it done now. If you're concerned, wait.

No one besides the OP has claimed it will harm a baby and I've acknowledged it will probably be fine to do.

Probably ain't good enough for me on something like this, but it's not my house.

I use Torginol on all my floors, so any pic posted is their flake.

You might want to postpone till after the baby lol. Idk how picky your woman is, but when I come home smelling like coatings, mine hates the smell :ROFLMAO:

My wife can smell a flea fart from 500 feet. If she was pregnant and concerned I wouldn't do it. How's your wife's sense of smell?

Torginol makes the flakes, not the coating. Check with the supplier of the coating with your safety concerns. We sell tens of thousands of garage floors annualy with literally zero fume issues.
We have extremely low/no odor systems that avoid this problem.
