Hey, thanks for you interest to help!
I have Torin Big Red 3 Ton Pro Series floor jack that has a jammed release valve that only moves it gears about half to one inch of radial or twisting movement. I just can't get the release valve via the handle to turn clockwise so as close the release valve and operate the floor jacks.
I've tried turning the handle clockwise and counter clockwise and I can't get the gears connected to the handle and release valve to turn any more than 1/2 to 1 inch in either direction if that much.
Does any one have any idea what can be stopping the release valve from turning? How do I correct or repair the release valve. The manual is of no help since it does not show a detailed parts diagram of the floor jack.
I have removed the gear on top of the release valve and tried to turned the release valve with a wrench and I still can't get it to move anymore.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
