Friends, I have a Torin 2 ton engine hoist, #T32001 with a bad jack that I'd like to replace. I can get a ******** Amazon almost as cheap as I can get the parts to repair it. There are no numbers identifying this jack other than 2 ton on the label, which I'm thinking is the unit as a whole, not the capacity of the jack. I've read somewhere that these engine pullers have 8 ton hydraulic jacks. I looked into a Torin 8 ton jack on Amazon that fit the unit, however the reviewer of that jack said it would not allow the arm to fully collapse. I need the space, so that won't work for me. That said, do I need to be looking for an 8 ton jack for this unit? Can anyone recommend a jack that will fit? Thanks!
