Toro charger

Most of my chargers are designed to either be mounted on a wall or set on a shelf. I have no spare shelf space so I keep the chargers in a tool bag and use them on the workbench as needed. An extra Milwaukee charger sits flat on the wall with a couple screws for when I am too lazy to pull down a charger and put it on the workbench. The toro 60V are different. The screw mounts protrude so if they are mounted on a wall, they are unstable. It is a bad design, or I lack understanding on how to mount them on a wall. The only thing I can think of is use a router to cut a relief in a piece of wood, and mount that so the protrusions can go into it. Has anyone come up with a better solution?

Adhesive backed felt pads meant to protect floors placed in each corner and back the screw out a little extra. I have them on the back of every mirror and framed photo in our house to prevent scratching of the walls. Inset them an inch or so and nobody can see.

I'll see if I can get some that thick. From your suggestion, maybe closed cell foam tape might work too. I have some of that I can try.
