I have no need of them. But it has to be a decent deal, right? Go get them if you want one.

Don't wash it or use those garden hose connectors on decks. Scrape it instead to avoid any moisture/rust buildup.Steel deck. If you don't was it after every use it won't last 5 years !
Sorry....I don't buy it.Toro dealer told us that Toro uses exact same deck for the electric and gas mowers. And that blade noise makes the electrics just as loud as the gas machines.
Replacement battery for that machine is well over $200
Um, I have steel deck mowers that have lasted decades. Not sure why you would be having an issue with them, might be your local environment or something related to your usage.Steel deck. If you don't was it after every use it won't last 5 years !
Yuppp....and you rinse that ***** off and you don't have to worry about rust.I wanted the Toro battery mower for the history of the name and it’s well built platform. I was totally convinced until I saw how much it was for another 6ah battery $279. I just couldn’t do it. I cautiously went with the new Ryobi HP mower comes with 2-6ah batteries. Composite deck is so slick that the grass built up falls off on its own. I love it. Couldn’t be happier. Mows my entire yard in a battery and a half normally. Light weight and easy to maneuver.

I don’t wash my steel deck mower ever and maybe scrape it every 50 hours. It is not rusting and it is a 2004. It might help that the deck is fabricated plate steel. It has 4,900 hours on it and was probably used hard due to being a government unit.and you don't wash it after every use ?
He obviously didn't want to sell one and has other motives for making such a claim. I have an electric self propelled mower and the blade noise is only part of the noise. A gas mower is WAY louder than my EGO. I can mow with my EGO after dark and not disrupt neighbors after working a long shift. I bought the mower, blower and string trimmer at the same time. Each came with interchangeable batteries and a charger. Total cost was on par with premium mowers.Toro dealer told us that Toro uses exact same deck for the electric and gas mowers. Seriously what's this guy talking about? I bought a Honda push mower in 2005. Sold it in 2019 when I moved and it was in perfectly fine shape. I never washed it once. Scraped impacted grass out of the inside once every three years or so. The snowblower lasted more than ten years and it was subjected to salt. It was never cleaned in any way.I don’t wash my steel deck mower ever and maybe scrape it every 50 hours. It is not rusting and it is a 2004. It might help that the deck is fabricated plate steel. My point is that a steel deck is not automatically going to rust through. I won’t mow when grass is wet at all so that helps. I am not a lawn service guy who has to mow rain or shine.
No, I rarely wash it or scrape it. Just cut the grass and put the mower back in the garage.and you don't wash it after every use ?
Maybe if it has a Honda engineToro dealer told us that Toro uses exact same deck for the electric and gas mowers. And that blade noise makes the electrics just as loud as the gas machines.

I don't know why he would have an ulterior motive. We actually were there to buy a Zero-Turn rider. We already have a self-propelled. Life expectancy of the batteries for the Toro is said to be 3 years. He obviously didn't want to sell one and has other motives for making such a claim.
