I have a brand new Dyna Glo 50,000 btu torpedo heater that burns good and puts out good heat but I just noticed today that a very small amount of raw fuel was present on the front . it wasn't dripping off or burning but it is there. is this a fuel pressure problem? any one else had this happen?

Are you sure it's raw fuel and not exhaust vapor condensate(water)? What happens when you put a lighter to it?

Many people don't realize just how much water vapor ventless heaters produce. General rule of thumb is that for every 2 gallons of fuel burnt 3 gallons of water vapor is released.

One common problem with oil burners is the 'shut off valve' in the fuel pump doesn't snap closed as the unit shuts down. As the motor & pump slow down on shutoff the pump's oil pressure will slowly drop & the oil won't be atomized. If the blast tube is lower on one end oil will slowly accumulate from dripping there.
