Torque extension question

Does anyone recommend torque extensions to use with high torque cordless impact wrenchs? The reason I ask, I have an old Snap-On cordless CT3850 that puts out about 250 ft lb and it is pretty close to spec when I use torque extensions. Someday soon my batteries will finally die, I would like to then use my Ingersoll Rand 7152. When I use the 7152 with torque sticks on 1/2 power, it overtightens. I was thinking of getting a 55 ft lb torque stick and experiment.

Any modern gun will overtorque if you give it more than just a couple quick braps, even with a torque stick.

Try setting your 7152 to Wrench Tight instead of Half Power
