If you are a designer and do not think people are going to use 2 hands for that design you are an idiot.

Being a technician I am an avid user of tools the way it is designed most if not all people would use 2 hands just by the way it looks. Palm on top and other hand to rotate. Why? because it is a hell of a lot more comfortable to grip it that way. It is actually quite sad you would believe otherwise. Also because of its design gripping with one hand most people would put there fingers on the cross bar and/or the incremental adjustment bar thus changing the torque so me as a technician would use 2 hands to prevent miss torque that is if i were to use a torque wrench at all (not likely unless doing competitive long range shooting)

Any double blind end user testing of 10 or more people would have proven this. Especially without packaging there.

Then you come on this forum and yell at potential customers. All of which are avid tool users whether they be cheap or expensive tools and proceed to tell us we are all wrong. The design is flawed from the get go. Probably to avoid having to pay expensive trademark or patent fees is why it was made this way.

I do believe sir that you and your company need to go back to the drawing board and If i was your boss you would be reprimanded or fired and I would apologize on this forum. Especially because it is the biggest and well known tool forum on the internet and we have people from all over he world. A lot who just read and rarely post. Why reprimand or fire?

After reading what you wrote I would never buy anything from your company because you are coming off as extremely hostile yet are supposed to be part of customer satisfaction/service. On top of which the links that you want us to look at do not even work which is even worse because it makes you look incompetent (even if you are not).

You've wasted your time posting your theoretical analysis. BTW, I'm the boss, and obviously, I'm not going to fire myself. We have more than enough customers, including military, LE, precision rifle shooters of all kinds, gunsmiths, etc., who respect what we do and we respect them as customers. Our ACTUAL customers are quite happy with our products and customer service, as we've had zero complaints. As a side note, just this year, we sold nearly 300 kits to U.S. military, mostly to SOCOM teams, and close to 140 kits to the active members of the U.S. military and LE, who purchased our kits at their own expense, and these guys are not known to waste their money.

But of course, according to you, all of our thousands of customers have no idea what they are doing, and you, on the other hand, was able to figure it all out by just looking at the picture. As Clint Eastwood used to say, marvelous.

I will never post on this site again. It seems like even a slightest effort to correct something that does not reflect reality is met with "you're an idiot" response from one of the experts like yourself. Pretty sad...

Wishing everybody the best.

I realize this thread left off a while ago. BUT. I'm with the owner/slash designer of Borka tools. He designed and marketed his tool. It should be used the way it was intended. It is not for anybody to EVER say/imply that his tool should be used with two hands or held any way different than he instructs. I say hats off for an intuitive design and USA production
Personally the little contact I've had with the company was with the owner and I always appreciate dealing with the chief rather than some office personnel who all to often can only follow a scripted outline of customer service.

I think this definition of shill applies quite well to you haters on here. A word used by conspiracy theorists when they are losing an argument.

Dude, calm down a bit...

It may be a good tool and durable for field use, but you're talking to a bunch of mechanics and maintenance workers, not rifle owners. Micrometer based torque wrenches are a superior product for in shop use, none of them are going to see the sense in buying another $140 tool that is less easy to use than their current $100 torque wrench.

It's like trying to sell a minivan to a 50 year old business man, or a sports car to an expecting mother. Wrong market, and both are not going to believe that what you are trying to sell them is any good for them. Doesn't make either one a bad product, just wrong market.
