Torque multiplier

What is a good torque multiplier? I have never owned or used one.

A lot of the brands on Amazon look like they are made on the same tooling.

The ExtremepowerUS and the Performance Tool ones have the most reviews. I was probably going to go with one of them… but I wanted to see what you guys had to say.

Never used either of those but I have a Proto I use often at work. Works great.

dependents what you are looking for... tools like the one listed above... they don't come cheap.

the one for tires all works.. I have the HF one before they discontinued and clearance price of $10 , it works well on stuck lug nuts that the airCat won't budge . I think mine is a 1:30 I have something that looks like this.

pretty sure you can modify it to be a hand held unit with a cheater pipe. the ghetto way.

They are basically the same. jam it to something and torque multiply via gear ratios, should be the same thing just different way of using it... never used that style but the old HF one, it have gotten me out of **** situations. where lug nuts are stuck.. handy to have in the car.
The style you listed is for trucks no ? The HF one is just a small pouch with what ever accessories.

We use Proto at work- industrial environment. But if you're asking for home use, I'm sure the price will eliminate it from consideration- unless you find a used one at a bargain price.

mine is either an X4 or an OTC. had it for so long i dont remember where i got it from.
mine is 1/2" female to 3/4" male
