anyone know the maximum torque you can put on the 3/8 88T matcos before they break? i know snap on dual 80 is around 280 pounds, cornwell says their 3/8's are good for 150 but i seen a video of one break at 260.

alright. im thinking they should take 90-100 pounds with ease. I even called Matco and they couldnt tell me how much torque they can take.

I'm ~200 pounds and have bounced on the end of a 15" long flex handle 3/8" drive 88T Matco ratchet a few times, well over 200ft/lbs and never an issue ...yet ;)

I got the same one from mac. Well, not the same, but the mac version haha. It seems so fine I never put much stress on it. Good to know a 15" 88t can handle some abuse!
