Does anyone have torque testers at your work place? CDI has some nice torque testers to test the accuarcy of torque wrenches. They are expensive but if use your torque wrench often, it is nice to know your torque wrench is accuarte. I have this equipment on my buy list. Anyone with experience using this equipment?

Hi Lightning,
I see you wrote this back in April last year, but wanted to chime in on this. You're right that torque testers aren't the most inexpensive calibration tools on the planet...I'd actually agree, though, that you're going to spend a lot less in terms of tool replacement, and fastener torque accuracy if you go with one of these. CDI isn't the only manufacturer of these. There are torque testers from Mountz, AIMCO, AWS, and others that cover different torque ranges for different applications. A good place to shop around includes Flexible Assembly's torque tester site, and a few others. Good luck!
