I have changed wheels when fixing cars for a living daily for many years. I know other technicians say to use a torque wrench. But guess what.. I never have
. You can see feel and hear when an impact hammer has tightened a lugnut enough.
Never have a vehicle i have fixed had issues with wheels coming on. And were talking THOUSANDS of vehicles. What i have experienced is new clients coming in, and not being able to loosen lugnuts using the impact hammer.
Just saying.
