Can torque wrenches be sent back to Snap-on to be calibrated or do you have to send to a place such as this http://www.teamtorque.com/index.html?

Also, is it true that most tool trucks can test to see if a wrench is out of wack or is fairly accurate?

Lastly, has anyone ever sent a wrench in for calibration? What was your experience like?

Snap On dealers can have the torque wrench recalibrated - not sure if they send it in or do it on their truck - but it is spendy

S O trucks often have a tester, its just another dial gauge torque wrench basically that they compare against.

we use a local company to calibrate.

You can also go to a high performance Engine Builder and have them torque a Bolt for you. Then test yours on the same bolt with the same setting. Just to check of course.

Does Team Torque put any kind of calibration stickers on the wrench?
