Torque Wrench help needed

Lots of the usual bogus advice here. Using a click-type for loosening fasteners is perfectly fine.

You would not last 5 seconds on a race team.

How's this one for a DIY'er? I currently don't own a torque wrench but have some gift cards to Sears and was seeing what they offered...

Well I believe it would be quite difficult to put 135 pds on a head gasket I will be using it for my cummins 5.9 for a head gasket. Well guys I have the guy selling the Snap on Torque Wrench part # QJR-3200B for 65 bucks it needs to be calibrated and it is an older style do you think this is a good deal please get back at me asap Thank you, =D

The Husky/Matco/GW is long enough to easily hit 135ft/lbs, even under the hood.

I used an older shorter length torque wrench to install head gaskets and head studs on my IH 6.9idi up to 110ft/lbs. I'm a small guy, but reaching the torque spec wasn't the hard part; torquing 17 stud-nuts on each head in 4 sequences will make your arms sore the next day though!

I bought some armstrong ratchet since I get them at a real good price 60 tooth heads so it will make my work alot easier instead of these Craftsman but will see how long they last got lifetime warranty on these. I will probably end up buying a armstrong torque wrench but a regular one I am just not liking snap on quality and customer service the more I read up on it
