I would like to know if using an adapter on a torque wrench would affect it's accuracy. I only have a 1/2 inch torque wrench but need to use 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch sockets. I am trying to see if I don't have to buy a 3/8 inch and a 1/4 inch torque wrench since I have very little use for them but it is important that I torque the bolts correctly.
