Just wonder how you guys feel about buying used torque wrenches? Or should you stick to newer? Hows the craftsman torque wrenches? Thanks

I wouldn't trust a used torque wrench unless I had it tested for accuracy, personally.

I have heard a lot of bad things about the durability of the Craftsman torque wrenches.

A used torque wrench has to be sent in for calibration before you can use it and you should add that cost to the asking price -- or in the case of eBay, factor that cost into your final bid.

Stick with NEW not newer.

And save your Craftsman money and buy a CDI.

Sometimes NEW is cheaper than used + calibration.

My new Signet torque wrench arrived today. I wouldn't buy second hand and feel that I could trust it without having calibration checked.
