I need to torque some bolts on the intake horn for my 06 Cummins. Spec is 18 ft lbs, is there a torque wrench on the market that makes an audible click in the lower ranges, as ive heard that torque settings in the lower range dont click when you reach the desired torque. Thanks guys, i know i can watch for the head of the torque wrench to snap back, just dont want to take a chance of stripping the threads.

I don't get the obsession with hearing the click. You're supposed to be going slowly with the torque wrench, you can easily feel it break.

My 10-100 ft. lb. cdi worked fine at 18 pounds. I did test it beforehand though to make sure it was accurate since that's at the very low end of its range.

As Scimmia said I don't listen for a click. For 18 ft/lbs I use a 250 in/lb model Craftsman. You can definitely feel it break over. I think just about all clickers will have a very small click at the low ranges.
