Hi I need a little help. I have a torque wrench made in Germany by Saltus and I need to know how to set the torque. There is no scale on the wrench or numbers to go by. If anyone is familiar with this wrench I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you in advance. Dan

Hi I'm new to this forum and I already tried to post this once and I'm not sure if I did it correctly. So if this is coming on again I apologize. I have a torque wrench made in Germany by a company called Saltus and I need to know how to set the torque on this wrench. There is no scale on it and no numbers to go by. It goes from 5-30 Newton meters or 4-22 foot pounds. If anyone is familiar with this wrench and can fill me in I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you in advance. Dan

You sure you don't have a preset, non-adjustable model? The few I've run into were like that, generally for production environments. Do you have a model number handy?

Indeed as mentioned a model number and a photo or 2 would be helpful. Also if you post it in "tools from the old world" here in Garage Journal I am sure Monte or someone in Europe would be helpful.
