Torx bits

I bought a torx bit set and driver at sears awhile back, just wondering if any of of the big tool makers makes an adapter to insert the bit into and allow me to use it with a 1/4 drive ratchet ?

I know Husky has one, came in a tool set I have they are definately out there..

Like Snap On's FBSM8A or FBS9 ?
(Those go on a 3/8"s drive) one holds smaller bits than the other 1/4" vs. 5/16" hex I think

I think Wiha might might have something similar too, and I bought an irwin from menards awhile back. Its not chromed but it was only like $3-5 if i remember correctly.

Craftsman and kobalt make them also..knurled so it can be a finger spinner also

I'd just buy a regular magnetic 1/4" socket.

Matco has an ADV one (AMP86V) for $8... I just happened to have the Matco e-catalog open.

All the big makers make a 'bit holder' usually for 1/4" bits, but often for 5/16" a well!

Beta are almost unique in offering a bit holder for their own 10mm bits, which allows for a much heavier duty bit and larger sizes!

Gearwrench makes a 1/4 drive bit holder socket, it's a couple bucks on their site. I threw one in with my last order. I've also seen a 3/8 drive bitholder by SK on Amazon that wasn't terribly expensive. Both of those are like normal sockets, no extra spinner ring or anything, but with provisions for holding the bit so it doesn't just fall out.

Every 1/4" set I've seen includes one of these if there are bits in it. So if you have a Stanley, Kobalt, CM, Husky, etc. set for in the car you might already have one.
