I thought they were used on VW but this thread mentions GM, what are the uses for you guys :headscrat:beer:

Not sure about VW, but I did use a torx plus last year to remove the head bolts on a 2000ish jetta. I know it was not the right socket for them, but I did not have the specialty VW socket. I got one of these sets right before and the $16 was money well spent!

VW/Audi 5v engines (Guessing it was a 1.8T?) use Polydrive headbolts. VW/Audi also use Polydrive on some camshaft adjusters. (Variable valve timing.)
