Looking to buy a paint gun for small jobs. Can someone recommend a good one? Decent quality. US made if possible. Suitable for someone new who is new to paint work. I plan to use it for simple component painting (leaf springs, suspension components, etc.) Have a compressor/moisture trap, etc.

Thanks

For small items like those I just use a rattle can. The finish comes out just as good after a little practice and its 10 times easier than mixing paint and cleaning the equipment after.

The devilbliss finishline series is nice for the money. They even sell a few kits that contain multiple guns.

If you can get over the COO, the purple harbor freight gun is actually really good, and really cheap for a beginner. More than a handful of guys have successfully painted a car with one.

What is your budget? Devilbliss, Sata, Binks, IWATA are all good names in paint guns.
