I got a good deal on a snap on tool box but there is a tiny bit of surface rust on the bottom corner (about 1 inch square) . I was wondering if anyone has actually tried the snap on touch up paint and how well it matches? If it does not match very well, then I would just take it to a body shop and have them do the paint. The color is black, on a KRA box, I can post pictures if anyone is interested in seeing the box.

I can not paint very well, but thought I might buy a gun and see how I could do. The way I look at it, I could pay 100 bucks or buy the tools and have them when I am done.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Hey, I know this thread is old but just wanted to add my two cents. I don't know how effective they are, but I came across this website that sold spray can touch up paint for toolboxes -- snap on came up as one of the brands. Here's the link: mytouchuppaint.com. Hope this helps!
