I put down Rustoleum solvent based about five years ago, and have a few small chips. Pretty small, smaller than a dime and mainly around some small cracks. The house was brand new, however concrete cracks easily in Oklahoma. It was cracked upon purchase, sealed, but I think the inconsistent surface made it easy to chip. The small discrepancies have been there over a year.

I did find a quarter sized chip in the third stall, which was odd because it rarely gets used. I park my coupe there, and it gets driven about 3K a year. I suppose I simply didn't see it until recently.

I called Rustoleum and rec'd a new kit. I'm told it is pretty simple - sand the area, and touch it up. Figured I'd ask about real life experiences before I do anything.

Also wondering if I should have any remote sense of urgency given how minor it is. I'm guessing once I open a brand new kit the shelf life won't be long, and I'll be using a few paint strokes of a $200 kit.

Yea it'd stink to waste a full kit for a few touchups. I myself did not do a good job in trying to stretch out a clear coat kit and it looks really poor toward the end of the garage. But short of doing a lot of sanding and potentially having it not stick (aside from looking obvious), I've just learned to live with it.

I'd say make your fixes, but use the rest of the kit somewhere else - did you do the vertical sides of the footings, etc? Also, I think I've saved half a kit in the past and used it a few months later without issue.
