I'm satisfied with my Ridgid unit. It took a while to figure out the assembly (I ended up giving in and reading the directions) I also used some of my own hardware (carriage bolts and locking nuts) to attach the bottom of the saw to the brackets that pop on and off of the stand. The bolts they sent were too long and would have created clearance issues. Over time, mine has shed some of it's paint along with the little rubber feet coming off (I'll fix them if I need to take this saw inside to work). The supports that slide out leave something to be desired for heavy work, but separate support stands (or a 4" step ladder) will help fix that. I paid $99.00 for mine and it looks like they are currently $129.00. Would I purchase it again? Absolutely!

I briefly looked at the other model you are considering. It looks a little beefier than the Ridgid but overall a similar design. The work supports look identical. Do you need that additional strength or would you have the $100 in your pocket? Only you can answer that.
