I designed and built this tow-hitch mounted stand for a metal bender I have to be able use it without having to bolt it to the ground or floor since I don't use it very often and I also work out of a rented 2-car garage currently. It's a two-piece design that uses trailer axle U-bolts to secure the main post to square tube frame that engages the receiver; the bolts allow up/down adjustment for different grade levels and also removal of the stand from the frame should I want to attach it to a floor in the future. I plan to make another plate to mount one of my vises to it also to switch between the two as needed. Maybe this will help others in the same similar constrained situation as myself.
