Hello Everyone,
Like most first time posters, I have been a long time fan of this forum, but haven't posted until my garage project started.
Background:
My wife and I got married about a year and a half ago. We have cleaned our garage a couple of times but still have a lot of stuff in there. so we are going though everything and throwing away, recycling, or donating what we don't need or use. We are then going to paint the walls and ceiling and use Rustolem Epoxy Concrete coating on the floors. Finally I will get to go tool box shopping!
Here is my plan
Week 1 - Clear out, and pack all the "stuff". Get the garage to a point where I can clean the floors. Once packed I want to degrease, patch, and etch the floors. Prep walls to paint.
Week 2 - Paint half the walls and ceiling. Then do half of the epoxy floor.
Week 3 - Paint and epoxy the other half of the garage.
Week 4 - Organize and put everything back.
So my question for all the veterans of the site is, how does this plan sound, and can I epoxy half the floor at a time? It would sure save a lot of head ache keeping everything outside for three days.
I'll post photos along the way.
