My garage is a very small 13'x19'. The real problem has been the lack of storage in the house all together. So, over the last several years the garage has become a catch all.

Well, no more.

This weekend my dad came in for a day. He and I took the garage from catch all to WAY more organized. I still have some work to do, but it's a LOT better than what it was.

On other's recommendations on this forum I used the Seville line of cabinets and workstation. The shelving is gorilla rack also found at Sam's. I was going to build wooden shelves but I saw this and really thought they could handle quite a bit of weight for relatively low price.

Thanks everyone. Got a few odd and ends on the opposite wall to hang up and going to build a wooden cabinet to hold pantry items.

I haven't done anything to the butcher block. I'm contemplating doing some kind of epoxy or see through cover for it as it is so nice. I'll mostly just use that worktop for doing computer work so not REALLY concerned about messing it up. The other bench is for harder work that I won't care about screwing up the countertop on.

Car and a half? Well, over there your cars are typically half sized so that's fairly appropriate. :p JK!

Only one outlet was installed.... (#rant on, come on builders, this is a GARAGE!! #rant off) so I had 2 more put in.

One for my workstation area.

Another for general use on opposite side of the garage near the garage door.

Next up will be more shelves for the opposite side wall plus a few odd and end hanger ideas I have cooking for some tools and what not. Beyond that, a Seville standing cabinet for a pantry closet and a deep freeze freezer.

In other news, I'm experimenting with blowing up images for my garage walls. This image is now 3 feet tall by a little over 4 feet wide. I'm working on a new one that will be 5 feet wide and 6 feet tall. Thought I had a better picture but this is it for now.

Nicely done - I just moved into a townhouse as well with a 2 car LONG and narrow garage. My issue is a slightly lower ceiling height at the far end - but looking at some ideas on how to develop it. Still at the no paint stage - but at least I have a garage now for my truck, toys & motorbikes !

Thanks for the compliments. I liked the metal shelving I bought so much I went out and got one more for the opposite wall. I now have everything on shelves and my garage is usable again! WOOT! :bounce:
