ive been thinking here
hope to be buying a house in a few months, planning my garage.
been thinking of building a portable battery system for my equipment.
have a open trailer with winch in toolbox with a deep cycle battery and solar charger that is very handy when needed but not needed all the time. also going to make a 12 volt winch powered stacker forklift. and be getting a riding mower. also a generator that's nice when needed but battery dead when you do.
so that's
1 battery for trailer
1 battery for forklift
1 battery for lawn mower
1 battery for generator
that's a lot of batteries for occasional use equipment.
so, heres my thought. I have a small rolling box, wondering if I could put battery in it, with the solar charger,a battery maintainer, a 12 volt power tap, a power inverter, and quick disconnect plugs for all the stuff and just use 1 battery for all. and gain a portable jump start box to boot.

Pretty sure the forklift and winch will require a much larger battery than the generator and lawnmower. As long as they are 12v dc, it would physically work but you'd have to work out the logistics of placement etc for it to be halfway efficient.
