Myabe I am wrong, but I wasn't under the impression that they MANUFACTURE the blast guns - I was under the impression that they buy them from an OEM and then they add them to their cabinets. I would agree with your post had I been looking for a pickup tube (a part specific to their cabinet) - but I was surprised that they only carried 1 brand of blast guns - when commercially they are several top brands out there.
Consumables are consumables - just seems like a lost revenue stream to me.
Get me to stop in for a nozzle and maybe while there I grab a couple bags of media and some tearoffs for my non TiP cabinet?? Seems like good marketing to me - but what the heck to I know - I'm using a zillion year old blast cabinet...

...oh BTW - I have bought FORD parts and installed them in my CHEVY!!!

Your Ford dealer isn't going to sell you Chevy parts either. They sell their brand of equipment and the parts to service it. Why would you be surprised to find out that's all they carry ?

Never heard of the company until this thread.
Seems they carry several brands HVLP sprayers, including their house brand TPTools. So I would think Rambler's observation would hold water. Why would they not carry other brands?

The burden is on buyer to check terms and conditions before ordering. It's right there on their website under "how to order."

Step 3- Billing Information
If you are a new Online customer, use this form to supply us with your billing information. This information should match the billing information for the credit card you are planning to use. Please feel free to send us feedback or special instructions in the "comments" field provided, or use this space to enter part numbers you would like to order but are not found on the site. Decide where you want your order shipped, click the appropriate circle, then click the "Continue" button to proceed. NOTE: If shipping to an address different from the billing address, you must notify your credit card company to list an alternate shipping address on your account. We verify both billing and shipping addresses.

Computer hardware companies often have this clause. It takes one minute to call up a credit card company to add an alternate shipping address.

I've spent thosuands with TP Tools over the years, never had ANY problem whatsoever. Looks like the OP is a doofus & needs to rip Capitol One a new ***.

Incidently, I used to have a Cap One card, had nothing but aggravation EVERY time I used it.. which was 6, maybe 7 times. Solved that issue by putting it through my shredder.
I wouldn't say that.

I signed up for a Capital One credit card a while back. They offered me a ridiculous limit of $300. Cancelled it as soon as it arrived.

Consumables are consumables

I hope I'm not taking your comment (too) out of context. But I'd argue the reverse. In fact, I'm an obsessive weirdo about consumables. Certain grindings discs, fibre discs, flap wheels, drill bits, etc etc.

I also like working with good quality stuff. I find the job is easier and more pleasant that way.

Another one is Apex bits. They're consumables but man are they great.

Yes, I think you are taking my comment the wrong way - what I mean is that you can typically sell me only ONE BLAST CABINET per lifetme (if I'm smart), but I need consumables forever! Yes I prefer good quality consumables - I find that most of the TiP products are aimed at hobby level guys - selling only their "brand" of consumables seems ok, but leaves out not only the various other hobby level guys, but the serious commercial businesss' as well.

It would seem to me that expanding their line would make sense - I dunno - to me it's common sense, but again - they have quite a thriving market business and I don't so - more power to them I guess.

Been dealing with them since they sold pressure pot blasters out of a Dry
Cleaners and have never had an issue in all these years. I will say the
majority has been"cash and carry" though. Sorry to hear of your issue with
them.
