I'm looking at buying a sandblast cabinet and been looking at the ones offered by TP Tools. Has anyone dealt with them? Are their products a good quality?

I'm not looking for a big one, just a smaller one that can clean a-arms, intakes and such.

We bought one from them the size of the 960 at work and it does great. It's about 10 years old now and we just replaced the vacuum filter unit. Other than that it's been a good unit. It has survived many hours of blasting.

You can order a unit from them and get the "show special" pricing during the week of Carlisle Swap Meet. Being you are in Ohio, you could also pick it up at the factory, saving on the shipping. They are a good supplier of quality products, and stand behind the product. Repair parts are always available, and unlike other companies, they have them in stock at all times. One of the better places to do business.....

They make a kick *** "retro kit" for import cabinets (Harbor Freight) that changes out the pickup tube and gun ... I have this and it makes my HF cabinet work FLAWLESSLY!

I've had a 960 for about ten years as well. Very nice cabinet and I'm quite pleased with it. They do have a big sale at their store after getting home from the Carlisle and Hershey Shows - might want to check their website. Basically, they discount everything on the trucks that came back from the shows to try to sell it rather than put it back into the warehouse.

I recently bought a 976 from them, no problems. I wanted the model 36 vac with the hepa filter over the model 35 and the guy suggested I buy the model 35 and the conversion kit, it was cheaper, and do it my self. Pretty good people to suggest a cheaper way to get something, even at a cost of some of their profits!

They used to be called TIP. Unless they have changed radically in the last ten years or so, they are a top notch outfit. My dad's and my friend's pressure blasters came from TIP. Great blasters for the price. My dad built his blasting cabinet using their plans kit. My friend got his Quincy compressor from them many years ago, and at work we used to order stuff from them all the time. No complaints. Good products, good service, good price.

Well, maybe one little complaint. We ordered a lid for the pressure blaster at work and it was like $6.95 or $7.95, something like that. We needed a tight-fitting lid to keep dirt and junk out of the blaster while it wasn't in use. What they sent us was a Frizbee with their logo on it. I mean, it was a real Frizbee, actually made by Wham-O for like seven bucks. It fit like a glove, but we couldn't help but feel a little cheated. But, hey, at least we could toss it around after work.
