TP3 Triangular Recess Security Question.

So recently at a convention, I was given this promtional item that seems to have a screw that resembles a triangle, but I've done some research and this is also called Exterior Triangle Head as well.

Via http://www.instructables.com/id/Whe...Mor/step31/TP3reg-Triangular-Recess-Security/ there is also a tamper proof version of this item as well.

I'd like (if only for a fun little project with a buddy or something) to take this screw off and I've only two found screw drivers online and try as I might none of brick and mortar shops carry them.

Here is a link to one of the Triangular Recess screwdriver. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F3FUBK/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Here is the second link. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004IUEHYS/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Both don't have stellar reviews and both don't like that well built, but these two seem to be built to last.

So my question is, does anyone know any companies that do produce good Triangular Recess Security screwdrivers and online websites/brick and motar shops to get these?

Thank you for any help at all.

McMaster-Carr sells bits. Do a search for "triangle bits." Not sure if they are any good, though.

I found several companies and several links and while I do like the McMaster-Carr site, I'll post all that I found.

Starting with HudsonFasteners.com http://www.hudsonfasteners.com/sec/sec_tp3_bit.htm.

Now with McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#triangle-screwdriver-bits/=h95759

Now with Tamperproof Screw Company. http://www.tamperproof.com/categories/tp3-security-to-the-third-power.html

However here is the link to the TP3 bit. http://www.tamperproof.com/products/tl1-tp3-triangular-recess-bit.html

Here is a link to their online catalog with this item included. http://www.tamperproof.com/pdf/tri wing_opsit_tp3.pdf

Online I found this forum that gives more information about TP3 screws and a direct link to a McMaster-Carr. http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?130356-Triangle-Recess-Bits-_

Because the TamperProof Screw Company seems to be the easiest to navigate through here is a link to their homepage. http://tamperproof.com/

So besides McMaster-Carr, has anyone dealt with HudsonFasteners and this Tamperproof Screw Company, Inc company?

With McMaster-Carr, how much is shipping typically and is there a minimum order with there products?

Thanks for the help thus far.

wow i usually just grab a triangular head screw with a pair of needle noses and turn it out; i guess if i really had to get one apart i would grind/file an allen key down till it fit right and use that

Greasemonkey44, I also heard of using a Robertson's square bit as well, but your idea also sounds good. However, I much rather find an actual TP3 Triangular Recess bit as that seems like that might be a good idea.
