Anyone here have one? I need one, my buddy at Kaufman has a Napa 92-1551, looking online and I find zero as far as pricing or competitive pricing.

Called Napa and the tool is 1500 bucks.

I asked them for a lesser expensive tool, they suggested a Napa 7006110 and again I find nothing about this tool online as far as availability or comparison to other equipment. Napa wants 5 for that one which might be fine and dandy but Id like more options not necessarily a cheaper tool.

All I want to do is have a tool thats gonna allow me to program sensors once I replace them and a tool thats gonna last and can be updated if need be.

Ok looking on E-bay for TPMS tool and I see there is a wide variety of options. Most ALOT cheaper than what Ive been looking at but again Im not looking for H.F quality.

Any suggestions. I dont need it too be limited to any one make of vehicle, that is for sure

I've tried the matco one years ago and did not like it but that was back in the early days of TPMS. last year my shop bought the Wurth one and it allows you to program the sensor as well as read. it was pricey but the Wurth dealer offered a deal buy 40 sensors and get the tool for free. so far it has been a great tool. might be a option if you sell lots of sensors.

I have found the "universal" sensors that my local auto parts store sells "self calibrate" (so far???)
I work on mostly Fords at work & use the little grey fob they give with the car, which works on any ford sensor

Can you give me the model # of the Wurth unit, they sell good stuff and maybe I can find it online. If I averaged a couple a month I be surprised.

I love that snapon one. Even has sensor part numbers built into it. It's not THAT expensive

We used a bartec at a national tire chain shop. Rarely had anything it wouldn't program

I have an Autel TS401 which does reading/activating and displays learning instructions but doesn't do ECU programming for vehicles that need to be programmed. It's fairly inexpensive but works well for basic TPMS stuff and is a good addition if you already have a diagnostics tool that does programming. The TS501 and TS601 do programming but are 3-4 times the price.

I have this...... Kent-Moore EL-50448 TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor Activation Tool I bought it for the 2010 Malibu I had. It works great on the 2015 Silverado I replaced the Malibu with. I think it was like $65 at the time. If your looking for a one size fits all, I'm going to guess its going to get "Pricey". I would look for model specific to the type of car you own. Just my .02.
