My new cave

Well since moving to the new house about 6 months ago I have been missing my "cave". Mostly the parties and people hanging out. Even though the house has a big garage its not the same as the old cave. So now the new cave is under construction this week. Hopefully begin framing next week. Pretty excited at this point because I can bring the CNC Mill, saw and other equipment I bought home and not have to keep leasing the machine shop I use now. So hopefully I will be able to do some cool stuff. I just thought I would start a garage build thread. I even attached prints in case someone wants to build their own. I am open to suggestions from people who have been there and done that if you think I need to add something or change something.

Traceman, Thanks for the additional pictures. It has been awhile since I have seen a stick built roof instead of factory trusses. Very interesting , well done.

Really just framed it to have wall space. The walls are 5-1/2' tall so I can mount pictures and signs. Yes the brick should match the house. I called 3 local brick companies to find out who sold the brick that was on my house. Finally found one who had it on file.
