That looks like the ticket. Probably the cost-effective way to operate is to find a contractor who has one of these to use, and to 'pay the man.'

If you can un-cap the pipe easily, use septic dye tabs placed in likely sources. Buy 3-4 colors so you test multiple sources at 1 time.

Write down what colors used where. They won't all dissolve at the same rate if low/no flow conditions.

Can also help locate the exit.
