Congratulations. Its nice to see someone doing well when the rest of us are struggling, especially as you are doing good things too (the hurricane volunteering) when so many wouldn't. Full respect to you and I'm sure you will provide inspiration to others and the beliefe that hard work can still prosper. If your ever down drifting in central fla and need a temp shop to work out of let me know.

Congrats man, new place looks awesome! Best of luck to you in your new endeavors! Looking forward to more awesome projects and updates

Thanks!! I can't wait to start working out of the new location. I'll be having many events there too!

That place is right around the corner from where I work (Elm Hill). I'll have to stop by sometime.

Congrats!

And since I've seen your LS conversions, I figured you'd appreciate a link my buddy sent to me...

Awesome! Yeah feel free to! I'll be having a big open house event this fall so I'll make sure to post up on here for any garage journal members who want to come by! Yeah those things are pretty awesome, I'd love to build one!

It's going to be a huge place my friend with more to shell out for expenses. I hope things go good and this isn't going to be an over your head issue.

I have high hopes for you, the business and this thread, good luck.

Yep, I've been stressing about that like crazy but at the same time I see the risk being worth it. There is a ton of traffic in front of the building since it's on a main road. I'm also 1 minute from Nashville and down the street from one of the most heavily trafficked parts of the interstate through the city. The utilities are surprisingly affordable too. The last business in here was a Goodyear tire retread plant and mechanics shop. They averaged only $160/month for electricity. Gas is expensive during winter if I'm running those heaters at $300-$600/month. Rent is $2200/mo plus $300/mo for insurance/taxes on the building. So $2500 a month for 7000+ sq/ft on a busy main road in the city definitely works for me!

I just signed a 3 years lease so I'll be here quite awhile. Time for my next big adventure! Thanks for the support :)

Congrats on the new shop! Can't wait to see how good it looks in a couple of months.

Same here! thanks man!

Appreciate it!! Where there's a will there's a way :)

Hey nice read! All the best with the move to the new shop.

Thanks!

nice, i am so excited to see what its gonna look like when your moved in

I've got some awesome plans for the place. I'll be keeping you guys updated!

Did a little work over there yesterday. I've got a lot of painting/cleaning to do! I'm thinking paint all of the blue to black..and then paint the yellow stripe to gold. Track. One's colors are Black/Gold/White so I think it would look pretty badass in there :)

Little panoramic photo from my phone of the shop.

It'd only when you start to get some cars in there that I can see how big the space really is. I find it hard to visualise a space without some sort of reference point in there for scale.

It's going to look superb when you're done with it.

Love the new place you got man, will do wonders having that much space. Every time I saw a pic of you're shop it was crowded as hell with cars.

Shame I don't live in the US, would be over @ you're shop all the time. I'm really born in the wrong country, stupid laws and anti car gouvernment over here. I would love a K-swap in my EG.

And I like the paint idea, would be easy too. Really easy turning blue to black and the yellow to gold.

Good luck on the move and start up of the new shop man

O MAN! I have so many updates. I'm sitting at a temporary desk in the middle of my new shop while a huge crew of guys have been helping me make the move. I'll try to get an update in here as soon as I can!

We'll be waiting on the updated pictures. Now that I see that the last occupant was GY, I now know why those colors looked familiar.

WOW ....

I am very impressed with how responsible and motivated you are in building your business. It's hard to find someone your age with such conviction to work hard. (Not meant to be an insult, just an observation of today's "Gimmie youth").

Nice shop and definitely a big step forward.

Keep up the good work and keep sending pics .... even if they are of a concrete floor. We are all pic whores and want updates !!!

Wow... nice space. I have run my own business, and I can tell that you're serious about making things happen. If one-quarter of the younger generation were as driven as you, we'd have almost NO problems left unsolved in this country!

Hahahaha, working on it guys! Today is officially the last day in the house and old shop. I'm at the new shop right now wondering how I fit all of this **** into my old shop, there's stuff everywhere!

I have so much work to do its nuts....running on 3-4 hours of sleep every night this week.

I'm gonna try and find my camera so I can upload some pics. I have some I can upload from my phone for now.
