Anyone put their tractor(s) on a lift? I have a 58 Ford Powermaster that may fit on a 4 post, but I haven't read of anyone actually doing it. Any experiences out there?

I don't see any reason you can't put a tractor on a drive on lift as long as you don't exceed the lift capacity. While ours is disigned for forklifts, we use a drive on for forklifts, skidsteers, small grove cranes and had it been long enough, I would put our Deere 244J on it.

^^^This.

From what I can find on the web, your tractor runs about 3500-4000 lbs, but be sure to account for any ballast (either weights or liquid in the tires) as well as anything that might be mounted to it when you put it on the lift.

I don't see a problem on a 4 post.

I do have a pic that I snagged either on here or on the web of an adapter for a garden tractor for a 2 post lift. If I can find it, I'll post it up

Only thing you might want to ask the manufacturer is if the weight at that shorter wheel base would be a problem. Especially if it is centered on the lift. I have a feeling it won't be an issue though. The shorter the wheel base for a given load the higher the stress is on the platform.

First thing I put on my lift was my tractor, Yanmar EX2900 with a shredder on back, wanted to use it to set/stretch the cables
