I know the 5-pc punch set has been mentioned several times but these other items on clearance too. I'm sorry I filed my receipt but all the individual stuff was ~ $3-$6. Good prices for Mayhew USA stuff

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to swing by TSC, I keep forgetting and I really want to check and see if these are on clearance.

Sadly I'm guessing the USA Mayhew will go to some Jobsmart MIC :(

If it makes you feel any better those chisels were Mayhew "select" which aren't all that great to begin with. I have a few of those and the edges and points tend to blunt and deform rather than cut or punch. The Mayhew Pro stuff might be better but I was never impressed with the ones I have.

I just went to a different TSC to buy more stuff and use the $10 off $50 coupon.

lots of the stuff that were clearance were different at this TSC, and different prices too.

did get another GW metric add-on set, they had dozens, SAE too but the SAE weren't on sale.

the GW 3/8 ratchet w/ext and SAE & Metric sockets was on clearance for $14.99, even though marked $17.99.
Mayhew chisel set not on sale, nor crescent, but lots of other tools,

hog ring plers with rings $2, various old timer knives, more impact socket sets deep and shallow $11.99, some decent large screwdrivers (jobsmart) for a few bucks...

These pliers are MIC but look decent as spares or something

3/8" torque wrench

edit: sorry for the glare, I believe it was $13.99. Claimed 5 to 50 foot pounds IIRC

Finally, I grabbed the set of 3/4" fractional impact sockets for $34.99-$5 coupon = $29.99.

I don't actually have any proper impact sockets in 3/4" (although one could argue these are not proper either being MIC), just always used the HF chrome sockets when needed.

Alleged regular price on this was $99.99; I believe someone mentioned it earlier too

I was lucky... was able to hit up 8 Michigan TSC stores last Sunday as we had a funeral in the thumb (live in SW). We took different routes up and back. Due to time, missed a few on the way back. Got 2 $99 Orca's, 1/2 hose, Tricycle for kid, extra rope, bungees, onezy for the June baby., Gear Wrenches, grease guns, couple small Crescent socket sets, 2 hose reels. Know I left some stuff out... Wife had fun too.

Varying prices was interesting between locations. Also used the extra 10% off coupon at one stop which saved $36 extra.

I actually went into TSC yesterday (on a whim between classes) and found that 3/8 Jobsmart Micrometer Torque Wrench for $13.99 (regular price $39.99). It's 5-80 ft ibs and seems to be the higher quality Taiwanese version so I bought one. I have to say, it's pretty nice and certainly much nicer than any of the torque wrenches at Harbor Freight. Well worth the $14!

Here's the link if you'd like to see what it looks like: http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/jobsmart-3-8-in-micrometer-torque-wrench

IIRC it's only 1" thru 1.5", skipping of course 1.1875"

It is a small set; at alleged retail of $100 I'd feel ripped off. At $30 it's fine. There is a lot of meat to the socket walls and they're basically flank drive/surface drive/whatever because the corners are actually removed, replaced w a ball radius such that nothing is touching the corners of the fastener.

That's a good score Ing!

TSC often has a good deals. Last summer I scored 3 sets of Great Neck brand 14 PC 1/2" inch deep impact sockets shallow and deep sizes. They were $7.50 a set in a clearance bin

I sold two for $15 ea. :D and kept one for myself to use at work. Good enough for that. Sizing was little wierd though both sets started at 3/8" the shallows went up to 3/4" which was ok, but the deeps only went to up 11/16" :headscrat

I have a similar sized set of 3/4 drive impact sockets I scored years ago at a tool tent for $35 old red steel case. I have never had any problems with them in as much as I use them. I did purchase one size larger Sunex 1 9/16 just for special job, and the walls on that one a slightly thicker but overall the size and depth is just like the others.

I think all these import sets are the same sizing 8 pcs 1" - 1-1/2" by 16ths EXCEPT for 1-3/16s.

$99 full price is bit of a stretch though. Pittsburgh Pro at HF are $39.99 everyday and with 20% coupon it would be just $32

^^^ I actually meant to look after posting if HF sold an identical set as I figured they probably do - then I forgot.

The laser etching on the HF set is nice if the pic is accurate.

edit: if you work on 2nd gen Rams 4wd you'll want a 1 11/16" - also available as individual Sunex on Amazon. Not even the "full" import sets that go to 2 1/8" or larger include this.

So stuff was on clearance in my store today There was a JobSmart 1 3/4" jumbo combo wrench for $6.99, $20 was the reg. price but all the rest of the loose wrench stock were still marked full price $15.99 and up. That wrench is just about as long as my big wrench drawer is wide .

Plus lot of chrome sockets were marked down so picked up a deep 12 pt metric socket for $1.69 reg $3.99 to temporarily round out an SK socket set I have that's been missing a 12mm deep for a long time. Maybe someday I'll find the right one.

And I also got a couple of the STACKON organizers today also on clearance in my closest TSC store but for $4.50 ea! Did pay a bit more more than was posted on them earlier but still a good. And to think like just about 2 weeks ago I ALMOST bought one for the $13 as there was a big in your face display right by the register. Today they were far back in the store and up high on shelf.

A bit smaller and not as deep as the Milwaukee organizer but overall they aren't bad especially for the current price. I might consider going back tomorrow and getting two more...for less than $10 its steal.

I stopped by the local TSC. I was able to stock up on some random screwdrivers for $1.79-2.19 depending on size. They also had the large metric 4pc gearwrench set for $23.99. Rivets were also marked down in 1/8" and 3/16" sizes.

YMMV

$1.99 regular price ---- $0.99 clearance

Johnson Level 48 in. Magnetic Professional Aluminum Level USA

Nice to hear that you were able to take advantage of the bargain. Actually, all those products in the links are fairly good quality. I'm surprised that they are on clearance. Maybe TSC is replacing them with cheaper versions.

Well, my TSC "HAD" the jumbo GearWrench 4 piece set for $22.00 but of course it was gone. SAE was full price.

Got these 2 10" screwdrivers they were the last 2, and were out of the holder, 1/4" x 10"
And a number 2 X 10" Phillips. $1.79 and $2.19.
Are the job force screwdrivers any good?

So alot of the clearance tools are now 50% off lowest marked price as of yesterday. Cashier said it was chain wide, and both stores in my area had it. Items like the gear wrench set that was $22...yup found one for $11. Sockets for 50¢ and 70¢ for deepwell, screwdrivers 70¢/90¢. Only items in the special clearance bin at my stores, but cashier also said she didn't think everything on additional 50% list had been pulled. A little extra off on some other clearance items too. Happy hunting!0b0d59ea1da48e4ccabf5f0dd430f204.jpgfb18d98b686b623b5b9e2a687b097ac1.jpg26715d978a019fbfad648487be760d9f.jpg481ba4a529d614f8e1bf6f91fce1b915.jpg
