Just hit up clearance at my TSC (Blairsville, PA) and found-

3/8 unbranded Air Ratchet 4.49 (Was 14.99) These were in the back in the clearance area, they didn't have any price tags on them either. Brought one up to check price, then went back and got all 4 on the shelf. Packaging looks identical to but is a different SKU to another model that was in the dump bins by the front.)

Glow Tape 7.99 (For those of us in the entertainment industry, this is the same Glo Tape you pay 10 bucks a roll plus shipping for at BMI/RoseBrand/whoever. I had no idea TSC even carried it, too late now I guess!)

I'll try to get pics tomorrow, I left the bags at work.

This Big Red 3.5T jack is priced at $69.99 now. I just received a 10% coupon in the mail so that'd be a decent jack at $63

Some Tractor Supply stores have the Rapidair Home Garage Kit 90500 marked down from $79.99 to $36.99. It is 3/8" line, but might not be too bad if you don't have a lot of heavy air demands.

Not sure if its a local thing, but my TSC has the better Fram filters on clearance. I picked up some for the tractor and mower.

Fram filters are not any good. They have a bad history of wrecking engines.
The innards come apart.

Not this again. He said the better Fram filters. There are several levels and the levels above the orange cans of death are decent or at least passable. You could find a lot more info by simply searching the web.

I've seen many reviews that the Xtraguard and Toughguard filters are as good or better than the much more expensive brands. I've used them on every vehicle I've driven for the last 15 years without a problem.

Thanks for this. I got (2) TG2's for Ford modular and later-ish Hemi's, (2) TG16's for Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep and (2) TG8A's for Ford/Dodge/Toyota

TG2: Amazon $8.96, RA $5.71, TSC $4.89
TG8A: Amazon $8.80, RA $5.71, TSC $4.89
TG16: Amazon $9.70, RA $5.71, TSC $4.89

From searching RA it looks like there's also a $4 rebate right now if you buy any Fram oil filter and air filter, but ya gotta act in the next 2 days. Link to form:
http://www.rockauto.com/Images/CurrPromoFiles/17037p2_framarol4offf2430.pdf

I honestly don't remember if TSC carries air filters and I don't know if the purchases can be made at separate retailers (I didn't read the form closely as I don't intend to try for the rebate)

Some stores have the trailer wheel lift down $10 on clearance to $30

I've raved about this concept all over the board, and used it repeatedly (although I built mine). This plus a cordless impact makes a trailer tire change a 10 minute ordeal, taking your time including clean up.

If u ever haul a tandem axle trailer and DON'T carry one of these you are sofa king we Todd Ed.

Grabbed one today. Tag said 29.99 but rang up 19.99. Thanks.

Grabbed some more Fram TG16 and 8A's at $2.79 at a different store. Also found a tandem axle trailer ramp at $23.99 - couldn't say no even though I have a home built one.

The Mystik 15W-40 synblend 2 gallon containers were still on the shelf at this store at $32.99 but now ringing up $26.99 (previously $29.99 so slowly falling). But at "my" store I scooped 'em up at $19.99 long ago.

Yup, local TS still had a handful of the tandem axel ramps but I think they were less than $20 but I could be mistaken. Have you ever seen the engine hoist go on clearance? There are a few here that I have eyed and have been sitting a longggg while.

At my store the 2 gallon jugs of 5W-20 have fallen from $16.99 to $11.99. They also had 5W-30 and 10W-40. I didn't price check those weights but likely $11.99 as well.

$1.50/qt for dino ain't bad

Anybody look at the welds under the tandem axle ramp? I'm sorry for only 1 pic per post, I have three beauties:

Geez those welds are ugly. Whereabouts in the world was that skilled labor sourced?

So yeah the 2 gallon jugs of 5W-20 have dropped to $5.79 at my store. 10W-40 is still at $16.99 which is dumb ‘cause virtually nothing on the road today would call out 10W-40 but plenty of new cars and trucks run 5W-20 including my ‘11 F350

I think they’re getting rid of the 2 gallon jugs ‘cause Johnny Homeowner just doesn’t know what to do with 8 quarts in a single jug. They’d almost be better to market 7 qts for the Ford modular motors and newer-ish Hemis.

At one store the single quarts of Pennzoil High Mileage 10W-40 have gone to $1.79. Not a smokin' deal but I'm generally happy with under $2/qt for just about anything, even conventional. Certainly, there are better deals to be had if you're savvy with clearances and rebates, etc.

Was out of town in Viroqua, WI and stopped at their TSC. They had a few truck boxes on clearance for substantial prices. Got a 60" chest for my dump trailer for $79 down from $279. Not sure if others are running that or what the deal is.

Looks like ALL Fram oil filters are being cleared out. A couple of weeks ago it looked like they were thinning the inventory a little, about 50-60% of the filters were on Clearance. Today I was in another part of the state and stopped in to find all of them on Clearance, some as cheap as 0.49-0.59. I picked up a couple of Tough Guard filters for my 96 Ford 7.3 PSD for ~$2 each (the regular Extra Guard filters for the same application were ~$6 each). Also got a few PH8170 + PH8172 for the mowers for ~$1.59-3.39 each. And several different fuel filters for 0.49 each. Seems that the price drops (as usual) are happening at different times in different stores, so YMMV.

And I know regular Fram filters often get a bad rap, but seems like many of these are not made the same as the run of the mill Fram filters.

Are TSC clearance deals store specific ? My local TSC has yellow clearance tags everywhere; Can you find clearance deals on the TSC webstore, like Lowes store specific clearance? Thanks

i prefer purolator filters, but anything is an improvement over fram

Me too, but was over at Bob is the Oil Guy and based on what I remember there have been issue with purolator filters. :willy_nil

Now the go to filter seems to be Fram :scared:

Just amazing how when manufacturers finally get it right, something somewhere screws it up.

Kind of... When one store has something on clearance it is not uncommon for others to have the same item on clearance too...

No, their website doesn't list clearance items that I'm aware of. It will list any sale prices though that they have going on, but that's it.
